Biography

Dr. Wei He obtained her Ph.D at Delft University of Technology, and her MBA at European University, the Netherlands. Prior to this, Dr. He first worked for wind energy systems at DTU, Risø wind test station in Denmark in 1990 and then worked for the wind power integration into Dutch grid at KEMA in the Netherlands. Dr. He is a principle engineer at Equinor, Norway, where she has worked for 20 years. She has applied offshore oil and gas experiences to offshore wind technology, and is making further effort for the joint technology development of combining offshore energy and industry sectors. Dr. He has lead nine EU funded FP7 and H2020 collaborative wind energy research projects at Equinor in recent 10 years.
