Biography

Dr. Roberto Albertani, PhD in Aerospace Engineering, is currently Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Oregon State University. Dr. Albertani spent 23 years in industry, working on military jet trainers, wind turbines and composite materials military vessels and sailboats. He was part of the XXVIII America’ s Cup and 1996 Olympics Games Italian sailing teams. His current academic research activities include micro aerial vehicles, bio flight-mechanics, wind energy- wildlife interactions and composites materials technologies.
