CEO, PGE Baltica
Monika Morawiecka is a graduate of Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) with a Masters Degree in Finance and Banking. She also holds a Master of International Management degree from the CEMS programme (Community of European Management Schools). She has been part of the PGE Group since 2006, for the past 9 years leading the strategy team at the Group level in her capacity as Head of Strategy reporting directly to the CEO of PGE Group. She has been responsible for strategic planning, business analytics and building the regulatory and government affairs function within PGE’s HQ. She has been appointed CEO of PGE Baltica in February 2019. Between 2013 and 2018 she was a Member of the Board of the Polish Electricity Association, actively developing and presenting Polish energy industry positions on major regulatory issues both in Poland and at the European Union level. In the past she had worked in consulting firms, realizing various projects in energy, gas and heating sectors.
