Biography

Matti Koivisto is working as a Researcher at the Technical University of Denmark, Department of Wind Energy (DTU Wind Energy). His research focuses on modelling large-scale wind and solar generations and their effects on power and energy systems. He develops the CorRES (Correlations in Renewable Energy Sources) tool at DTU Wind Energy. He is also experienced in electricity consumption modelling and has strong data analysis background. He has Doctor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Aalto University School of Electrical Engineering from 2016 and 2010, respectively.
