Biography

Following my passion for sailing, I started in 1998 at Delft University of Technology in Marine Technology and graduated in 2004 at the Ship Hydromechanics department. After my graduation I started working as a project manager within MARIN in the area of ship and offshore hydromechanics, mainly for yachts and cruise liners. From 2011 I’m responsible for MARIN’S Renewable ENergy Team (RENT). RENT is a MARIN‐wide team of specialists covering all the aspects needed to make offshore renewable energy a success. Within the RENT team my primarily focusing is on (floating) offshore wind turbines and improving the offshore operations.
