Biography

I am a metocean specialist currently working at the University of Stavanger as an Associate Professor in marine technology. My education is in the fields of mathematics, meteorology and hydrodynamics and I have extensive professional experience leading challenging commercial and research projects in the coastal and offshore marine environment. During my career I have applied my numerical and physical modelling skills to a range of marine engineering problems including; offshore wind turbines, sub-sea structures, offshore breakwaters & reefs, seawalls, and mobile coastlines.
