Session description

Last year 10 countries signed a declaration on cooperation in offshore wind in the North Seas, acknowledging the need for closer regional collaboration. We are delighted to hosting a meeting of the North Seas Energy Forum which was established to implement the declaration. It will take stock of progress on the 4 different streams of work: maritime spatial planning, offshore grids, support frameworks and finance, and technical standards. This high-level session will open the Forum, bringing together senior policymakers from North Seas countries and offshore wind industry leaders to discuss the way forward.
