Jan HENSMANS is head of unit of the division General Policy Coordination and International Relations at the Belgian Federal Ministry of Economy, Directorate-General Energy. He is a lawyer and worked several years in the Gas & Electricity Division. He is Belgian coordinator of the Pentalateral Energy Forum and co-chair of the Support Group II Security of Supply. He chaired for five years the Programme Board of the North Seas Countries’ Offshore Grid Initiative and is the current Belgian coordinator of the North Seas Energy Forum.
