Offshore Supply Chain Workshop
When: Thursday 21 March, 11:00–14:00
Where: Meeting Room 1A, Level 5
Open to: Invitation only
Europe currently boasts an installed offshore wind capacity of 34 GW, and ambitious plans are underway to more than triple this figure within the next seven years. We expect to build around 5 GW a year in Europe over each of the next three years. Numbers will then rise sharply from 2027-30 – and will need to exceed 20 GW/year if Governments are going to meet their targets.
Achieving these ambitious figures will require a concerted effort from all stakeholders in the supply chain. This includes developers, turbine manufacturers, foundation suppliers, marine contractors, as well as substation and cable suppliers. With this workshop, we would like diverse entities to collaborate, share insights, and devise innovative solutions to overcome the challenges of rapidly scaling-up offshore wind installations.
To facilitate dynamic discussions and swiftly address cross-cutting issues, we’ve opted for a B2B approach. This workshop will be a unique opportunity for representatives from various segments of the offshore wind energy supply chain to collaborate.
Join us as we collectively look for solutions to accelerate the delivery of Europe’s offshore wind energy targets!
Kindly note that attendance is restricted to members, and by invitation only.
