Community engagement is an important part of developing a wind farm. And it will become more important as we build even more wind around Europe. If conflicts with a community arise this often means a delay in the development of a project, slowing down the energy transition. But by applying a good strategy for engaging communities these problems can often be avoided. This is where we need you!
This will be an exclusive deep-dive session on EasyPermits and Better Community Engagement to Accelerate Permitting. We are specifically looking for people who work on permitting and community engagement. During the session we will showcase EasyPermits – a digital permitting solution. The tool provides solutions for faster permitting for Governments and developers. But EasyPermits also includes a portal that communities can access. Within this portal they can find out important details for projects around them which are going through the permitting procedure. We need your input to improve this part of the tool – especially on how you think EasyPermits could foster community engagement. This will help us to add the relevant features to the tool.
