Session description
Onshore power supply (OPS) is a cornerstone for decarbonizing ports through electrification. By connecting docked ships to land-based electrical grids, OPS eliminates the need for onboard generators, and reduces emissions and noise pollution. In this session, we will explore how this solution enhances air quality, mitigates climate change, and fosters sustainable port operations and could support to decarbonize an offshore windfarm.
