PO253: EMRED Joint Industry Project - Monitoring and reporting of GHG emissions for the wind installation industry

Abstract

Due to the lack of a unified GHG monitoring and reporting framework for the offshore wind industry, a joint industry project was initiated to investigate how a unified reporting standard could be developed. The objective was to increase the transparency and improve how the stakeholders could report and track GHG emissions for the segment. Partners The following 15 companies were part of phase-I of the project: Jan De Nul Group, Fred Olsen Windcarrier, Scottish Power Renewables, Cadeler, Vattenfall, Ørsted, Ziton, RWE, DEME, Van Oord, Atheleon, GustoMSC, Maersk Supply Service, Heerema Marine Contractors and DNV.
