Biography

Mr. João Vidal has been working in the wind industry for more than 15 years. He is currently a Senior Environmental Manager at Casa dos Ventos Energias Renováveis, São Paulo, Brazil. He studied Law at Pontíficia Universidade Católica de Salvador, with a specialization in Environmental Law at Pontíficia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. After his studies, he spent 7 years at CountourGlobal as a Latam Environmental and Sustainability Manager, conducting permitting processes with governmental agencies in Latin America (especially Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, and Uruguay). Since 2015, he has been at Casa dos Ventos Energias Renovaveis, the Brazilian leader in wind and solar project development. In 2022, João graduated in PMD (Program for Management Development) from IESE Business School. After that he has been more knowledgeable to address social and environmental risks into sustainability strategy.
