Biography

Carolina de Mas is an offshore wind advisor for the World Bank Group’s Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP). She studied Industrial Engineering in BarcelonaTech (Spain) and Civil Engineering in LTH (Sweden). Having started her career in offshore Oil&Gas field management with Maersk, in 2016 Carolina transitioned into renewables with Orsted (then Dong Energy), acting as project manager for development of offshore wind projects. Since 2021 she has been providing advisory services for emerging markets both to the private and public sectors, leading the Colombia Offshore Wind Roadmap for the World Bank Group in 2022.
