Biography

Cristina Fernández has a long track record in the renewables industry. She started her career in the year 2.000 in Spain, working 7 years as Managing Director of Repower Systems Spain (lately Senvion), heading its activities in the Spanish and Portuguese market . In 2007 she moved to Repower´ s headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, where she took over responsibility as Global Key Account Manager and Area Sales Manager for Southeast Europe, among other positions. In 2013 she moved to Siemens AG, where she developed her career as Offshore senior sales manager, being lead negotiator and closing contracts for projects exceeding the value of 1.200mio EUR . In 2017 she joined Mitsubishi Vestas, where among others she worked as Offshore Sales Director, leading a team of 6 offshore senior managers in charge of 7 offshore wind markets in Europe. In October 2022 she joined K2 Management and as part of the Management team she´s on the one hand heading K2M´s activities in Germany, and on the other hand, she´s leading K2M´s sales and business development activities in Europe as Sales Director for EMEA.
