Biography

Cory Bennett is the Energy and Climate Editor for POLITICO Europe, based in Brussels. Before taking on this role, he was POLITICO’s EU Editor in Brussels. Prior to moving to Brussels, Cory was the Deputy White House Editor for POLITICO in Washington, D.C. He also served as a national security editor and cybersecurity editor for the publication. Before that, Cory covered cybersecurity, national security and online privacy for multiple publications, including The Hill, Communications Daily and National Journal. Cory earned an undergraduate degree in government from Cornell University and later completed a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University. He is originally from Chicago.
