Biography

Teresa Simões has a PhD on Environment and Sustainable Energy and has been working in the wind Energy sector since 1999 at LNEG. She is currently a Researcher at LNEG and the responsible for the Wind Energy Area. She is an Invited Professor at the Sciences Faculty of the University of Lisbon, and alternate Member at IEA Wind and EERA Wind. She has participated in several European funded projects and is involved in the identification of the Renewable Acceleration Areas for Portugal. She is a member of the Management Committee of COST Action MODENERLANDS and responsible for LNEGs activities in the H2020 LEAP-RE project for Africa.
