Biography

Cristina Benzo is a junior Data Science and Application Engineer at Vaisala, working primarily on data analysis, algorithm development, and scientific support on the WindCube Offshore. She recieved her bachelors in Atmospheric Sciences at George Mason University. She then pursued a masters at Villanova University in Sustainable Engineering and another at Ecole Polytechnique in Energy/Environment Management, conducting renewable energy resource assessment projects from a holistic engineering perspective. Her current work focuses on the use of offshore lidars as a viable source of accurate and precise wind measurements.
