Biography

Yiğit is Shell’s General Manager for Offshore Wind Commercial business of Shell’s Europe Renewable Generation business, responsible for considering Shell’s strategic choices, bidding/partnership strategy and execution in tenders. Yiğit’s 20-year career in the energy industry covers all aspects of the global energy & power value chain at an international level, including Retail, Strategy, M&A, Supply Chain, Trading and Power Generation businesses. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and furthered his education with an MBA from the Bilkent University in 2001, as well as an Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD in 2019. In addition to his role at Shell, Yiğit is actively involved in the wind industry, serving as a Board Member at WindEurope and Board Director of Ecowende, a joint venture by Eneco and Shell.
