Biography

Tiago is the Head of Origination for Statkraft in Iberia. He joined Statkraft 9 years ago as Head of Biofuels Physical Trading and for the last nearly 6 years is heading the Origination team in Spain and Portugal. In addition to develop Statkraft’s presence in the Iberian market, he is responsible for a team of Originators based in Madrid, Spain working to find structured solutions to hedge electricity volume and price risk for RES developers as well as Utilities and Corporates/Industrials. Previously to joining Statkraft in 2014, he was for 10 years a Corporate Finance consultant in Accenture in Lisbon, Portugal and London, UK. Tiago is an engineer with a specialization in Industrial Processes and Engineering and has more than 10 years of experience in project management and corporate finance and a further 10 years of experience in the Renewable sector.
