Biography

Elena is leading Data & Analytics activities for Offshore O&M in Iberdrola - ScottishPower Renewables. She has over 12 years of experience in the Data, Analytics and Digitalisation for the wind energy sector, in both Industry and Academia. Prior to joining Iberdrola, Elena worked for Natural Power, CIRCE foundation (awarded by a Marie Curie fellowship within the AWESOME project) and Siemens Gamesa, where she acted as the Deputy Technical Project Manager for the ROMEO project. Elena is a strong advocate for the importance of Data as a driver for the Digital Transformation of the business. In her current role, she focuses on the implementation of a robust Data Governance, Management and Analytics strategy. Key activities include promoting a data-driven culture, democratising information, and removing data-related barriers for advanced analytics.
