Biography

Marco Novello is currently Technology and Innovation Manager in Saipem for offshore Robotics, Automation and Monitoring applications. Since joining the company in 2003 as Electronic Engineer, he has always been directly involved in technology development building a solid backgroung in automation and digital applications over the years. His background expertise ranges from automatic welding systems to digitalization and monitoring of pipelay operations, subsea processing, robotics and autonomous underwater vehicles. In the path to energy transition, his focus on offshore wind is in the application of advanced robotics solutions for unmanned operations, integrated monitoring systems and optimization of maintenance and life-of-field activities.
