Biography

Kristian Mikalsen has almost 20 years professional experience within the offshore and shipping markets. The last ten years within subsea, renewables and offshore wind. He has worked in several companies, including NOV Inc., Fred. Olsen Windcarrier and is currently holding the position as VP & Head of Business Development in Aker Solutions. He has a degree in structural engineering in addition to education within economics and shipping. He is passionate about innovation and is co-inventor on several patents within the offshore industry. .
