Biography

Mr. Fredriksen is currently responsible for global design at Wind Catching Systems, a Norwegian company developing a unique multi-rotor technology for floating offshore wind. He holds a M.Sc degree in Naval Architecture from the Norwegian University of Science & Technology, specialised within marine structures and hydrodynamics. Before joining Wind Catching Systems beginning of 2023, Ørjan spent more than 10 years at classification society DNV, where he held various technical and managerial roles including consultant and approval engineer for ships and wind turbine installation vessels.
