Biography
Øivind Bergh, Dr. scient in General Microbiology (University of Bergen 1996) is Principal Scientist at the Institute of Marine Research in Bergen, Norway. He is presently coordinator of the OLAMUR project (www.olamur.eu), a Horizon Europe Lighthouse project in the Baltic and North Sea basins, aiming for multi-use of marine area with low-trophic aquaculture of mussels and seaweeds combined with offshore wind farms or fish aquaculture. He is also involved in studies on Marine Special Planning and marine environmental monitoring.
