Biography

Dr. Gregor Giebel is senior scientist and head of section at DTU Wind. During the last 27 years, he worked in energy meteorology (most recently, as the head of the Train2Wind Marie Curie action investigating how large wind farms can be, and as Operating Agent of IEA Wind Task 51 Forecasting) and with grid integration of wind farms (in his function as head of section of Renewable Plants in Weather Driven Energy Systems, and as the head of the new NEST Facilities research infrastructure).
