Biography
Dr. Pettersen has worked in DNVs Ocean Space research programme for four years. He manages the innovation project MARCO - MARine CO-existence scenario building, and DNV's Ocean's Future to 2050 project, which is DNVs model-based forecast of developments in the Blue Economy. He holds a PhD in Marine Technology from Norwegian University of Science and Technology, specialized in marine system design. His PhD focused on resilience as a design feature in offshore support vessels and ocean logistics systems, as a means of handling future market and operational uncertainty.Posters
