Biography

Dr. Andoni Saez de Ibarra [M] received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electronics from the University of Mondragon, Spain, in 2009 and 2012, respectively, the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Grenoble Institute of Technology, France, in 2012, and the PhD. degree from the Université Grenoble Alpes, Grenoble, France, in 2016. In 2012, he joined the Control Engineering and Power Electronics Department of Ikerlan Technology Research Centre where he carried out the PhD work and in 2016 he moved to the Energy Storage and Management Department, where he is nowadays participating in several industrial and research projects as a Senior Researcher. His research interests include the optimal energy management and market integration of renewable energies associated with energy storage systems and electric transport.
