Biography

Dr. Iman El Gharamti is a Research Scientist at Arctic Renewable Energy team (VTT) where she works on offshore wind power in freezing sea areas. She has more than 5-year experience in ice engineering and is expert on ice mechanics and ice fracture. She has conducted large-scale ice experiments in the laboratory (Aalto Ice tank) and the field (Svea, Svalbard).
