Contributor to- and leader of technology development initiatives for the future subsea energy transmission including floating wind and hydrogen. Joined Nexans as an metallurgist in 2013 and is now functioning as an R&D project manager. Specializes in material science and mechanics thereof to create new components, cable designs and manufacturing pathways. Established multiple new industrial research pathways and partnerships. Projects often involve long term degradation mechanisms of un-explored material combinations with associated complex testing and modelling, and is key for deployment of new products including dynamic cables operating at 145 kV and beyond.
