Biography

Mrs. Hélène Bugat has been working in the defense industry for more than 20 years. She is currently the Head of Innovation & Products in HENSOLDT France. She is in charge, with her team, to manage the products policy, the R&D, the patents, the innovation projects, and the European/French studies. With among others, AirSentinel, a passive transponder-based receiver designed for the detection of aircraft entering a windfarms area. She studied embedded electronics systems at the Paris-Saclay University. After her studies, she spent 13 years at AIRBUS as an electronic and firmware Engineer on different secure communication applications. Then, she had been engineering manager for 6 years in the IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) domain with very short range interrogator to identify friends and prevent fratricide; and also in embedded cryptography for IFF applications too.
