Biography

Hector del Pozo Gonzalez holds a B.S. and M.S. in Automatic Control and Industrial Electronics (2019/2021) from Universidad de Leon and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), respectively. Actually, he is pursuing the PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from UPC. He was a researcher visitor of National Renewable Energy Laboratories (NREL) in 2023. Currently, he is a Project Engineer at the Power Systems group from the Catalonia Institute for Energy Research (IREC). His main work lines and interests include floating wind energy, offshore hydrogen, control systems, solid oxide electrolysis, green power-to-x and grid integration of renewable energies.
