Biography

After graduating from Grenoble Polytechnical University with a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering, David Quidort spent the first 7 years of his working career with ArcelorMittal Research & Development both in France and in Belgium focusing on metallurgical modelling and new high strength grades for Automotive. David then joined the commercial organization of ArcelorMittal, first as Manager of Client Technical Support for the Oil& Gas linepipe sector, and later as Product Manager for Abrasion Resistant Steels for Industeel, the special plates division of ArcelorMittal in Europe. He jumped back into R&D in 2019, focusing on Product Development & Support for several product lines of Industeel, including Mold & Tools, Ballistic protection, Abrasion Resistant, Offshore, Mechanical Engineering applications.
