Biography

Ms. Mendiburu Valor holds a PhD in renewable materials engineering, cumlaude, where she has worked on the recycling of urban and marine waste. She is currently Personal Teaching and Researching in the circular economy and industrial sustainability group at the University of Mondragon. She studied renewable energy engineering and did a master's degree in renewable materials engineering, which opened the door to a PhD. After her studies she worked at Gaiker as a researcher in circular economy and environment. She has worked on several projects and currently has 4 Q1 papers published as firts author. Her research focuses on life cycle assessment and impacts calculation, analyzing circular economy and sustainability studies in various fields.
