Biography

Lennard Sijtsma (MSc.) is a managing consultant in the commercial energy team of Guidehouse. His areas of expertise include energy system and market modelling, data- and techno-economic analyses, and strategy development. In addition, he is an experienced facilitator for multiclient and multistakeholder workshops. During his period with Guidehouse, he has primarily focused on strategic projects for the roll-out of offshore wind and hydrogen. He has contributed to multiple studies for the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate and the Dutch TSO's on the possible integration routes for large capacities of offshore wind in the energy system. Furthermore, Lennard has supported multiple offshore wind developers in the Netherlands in bid strategy development for offshore wind tenders. With Lennard's background in Mechanical Engineering, his affinity with process and energy technologies, and experience with energy market modelling, he can support clients in understanding the impact of broad system developments.
