Biography

Mr. San Martin is an environmental and social management specialist with more than 20 years of professional experience in renewable energy from research institutions, consultant companies, and industry. During the last 10 years he has been Senior Sustainability Advisor in Statkraft - the largest renewable energy producer in Europe. He is a trained industrial engineer with graduate studies in natural resources management and economics. Currently, he supports the design and implementation of environmental and social management measures in Statkraft's renewable energy project portfolio (including onshore wind, solar and hydropower) in Europe. He is an Accredited Sustainability Assessor for the International Hydropower Association Sustainability Protocol and a Certified ISO 14 001 Auditor.
