Biography

Raffaello leads the offshore Load Analysis team of Sofresid Engineering (France), supporting floating wind projects worldwide. Building up from a naval architecture background, he holds an Engineering Doctorate and has an 11-year experience in floating wind, having worked in this field within EDF, Naval Energies, and as part of SAIPEM. In recent times, Raffaello has served as expert for the IEC 61400-3-2 “Design requirements for floating wind turbines” work group.
