Biography

Aron Pujana-Arrese studied physics at the University of the Basque Country, where he graduated in Automation and Electronics in 2001. That same year he joined the Automation and Control Engineering department at IKERLAN and is currently a senior researcher at, and the head of, the Control and Monitoring Area. Over these years, he has led research and industrial efforts in the fields of modelling and control of biomimetic pneumatic actuators, control of wind turbines, dynamic modelling, virtual prototyping, robust and non-linear control techniques and, in general, the modelling and control of mecatronic systems. By now, he has co-authored over 20 papers on mechatronic system modelling and control.
