Biography

Dominique Alonso Sørensen received the M.Sc. degree in electric power systems from Aalborg University, Denmark, in 2018. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with the University of the Basque Country, Spain. In addition, he joined the Smart Grid Department, Arteche in 2020. He is currently with the Business Development Department, where he is the Global Service Manager for Grid Connection. He is responsible for the successful integration of renewable power plants into the transmission and distribution system. His research interests are among other topics; power system modeling, frequency stability and control, low-inertia systems, and grid integration of renewable plants.
