Abstract

RENEWABLEBRAIN is new advanced monitoring platform capable to observe the health status of any of our renewable plant assets and detect any anomaly in the operation before the failure of the component. Acciona Energía as first global operator exclusively dedicated to renewable energies has a mission: to demonstrate the technical and economic viability of a sustainable energy system based on renewables. In that line, Acciona is making important efforts to improve and optimize the power production process based on our large experience caring for our assets since the origin. As in Acciona Energía there is a large and diverse fleet of renewable ways of energy production, RENEWABLEBRAIN platform uses all our previous knowledge in many pilots for defining and getting a scalable and applicable platform, with the target of providing predictions for all our installed 10GW. Based on Artificial Intelligence, advanced statistics, big data architecture and complex algorithms for representing a large population of different components, the platform observes the real behavior of each one of our assets and compares them with the “expected” behavior. The platform is a sentinel for our fleet checking the health status and detecting any anomalous behavior based in the observation of the models versus reality.
