PO153: Assessment of AEP gain in relation with Siemens-Gamesa TCU 1.0 upgrade

Abstract

CGN Europe Energy implemented the side-by-side method to quantify AEP increase following a performance upgrade.The method was applied to test cases where the TCU 1.0 software upgrade offered by Siemens-Gamesa was activated on a set of turbines.AEP gain and associated uncertainty were assessed for various wind speed distributions.
