Biography

Mr. L Garcia Salgado has been working in the wind industry for almost 5 years. He is currently a wind turbine performance engineer at CGN Europe Energy based in Umeå, Sweden. He studied aerospace engineering at UPM in Spain and energy engineering at Aalborg University in Denmark. After his studies, he worked for 2 years as a wind energy consultant in Scotland, involved in offshore wind resources projects. Nowadays, his main work area is the operational performance of 1400MW wind assets in cold climate. He is responsible for the analysis and monitoring of icing impact in production and the efficiency of the installed Blade Heating Systems
