Biography

Ibon Diez is Chief Engineer at Alerion Technologies, a start-up that was built in 2014 on the technological transference program on the European Space Agency (ESA). He is Industrial Electronic engineer and holds a M.Sc. in Embedded Systems from the Mondragon Unibertsitatea (Spain). Ibon has over 10 years of work experience in the automotive and aeronautical industries. His technical expertise spans design and development of safety real-time applications, avionics simulations, test-benches. Currently, his main interests are the development of autonomous drone solutions for NDT inspections in different environments, combining the latest robotic and software technologies.
