Biography

Celia Vilches is an Industrial Design Engineer, graduated by the University of Seville (Spain) in 2017. Currently, she is a student in a M.Sc. program in New Materials Science and Technology (University of Seville). Since she joined the Testing and Advanced Processes Unit of the Center for Advanced Aerospace Technologies – CATEC in 2019, she has been involved in research projects within different fields, focused on the Non-Destructive Testing of materials and components. Celia has a wide knowledge in NDT techniques such as ultrasounds and infrared thermography and she has collaborated with customers like AIRBUS DEFENSE & SPACE, The European Space Agency, SOFITEC; AERNNOVA in national and European projects.
