Project Manager EU Hydrogen Policy, Agora Energiewende

Biography

As project manager for EU hydrogen policy at Agora Energiewende’s Brussels office, Mauricio Belaunde works together with Agora’s EU energy policy experts and hydrogen specialists to develop evidence-based and politically viable strategies for the deployment of hydrogen in the EU’s energy system. Before joining Agora Energiewende, Mauricio Belaunde was a policy officer in the Austrian Federal Ministry for Climate Action, where he worked on the development of the Austrian Hydrogen Strategy. He holds a Master of Science in civil engineering from the University of Technology in Vienna and a Master of Public Administration in Science, Engineering and Public Policy from University College London.
