Over the past year with lockdowns impacting on-site work, WindESCo was able to find and fix anomalies within our customers’ fleets. We worked closely with Longroad to implement a cost-effective and scalable solution that would provide immediate ROI: WeBoost.

WeBoost is a comprehensive wind farm AEP improvement solution which provides the missing link between SCADA data and business value by increasing AEP between 1–7%. Combining our patented technology with machine learning and deep domain expertise, WeBoost is helping wind energy operators increase AEP and unlock their wind plants’ hidden value.

WindESCo was able to rapidly optimize plant output, an endeavor that would have taken much longer and been significantly more expensive with other technologies—if they worked at all.

The insights gained through WeBoost directly resulted in a 2.5% increase in AEP for the project. The impact to the bottom line? An increase of $3,000/MW/Yr for a total benefit of $430,000/Yr.
