Biography

Chris Damgaard received the B.Sc in Electrical engineering from Aarhus University, Herning, Denmark, in 2002. He is currently System Manager in Controls at KK Wind Solutions, Ikast, Denmark. From 2002 to 2003, he was with Bang & Olufsen as development engineer working with SMPS and general analog electronics. Since 2003 he has been with KK Wind Solution, Ikast, Denmark as first SW & control development engineer and later as System Manager in Controls. Lately he has initiated concept work and development of solutions that can improve the wind turbine performance and being able to perform predictive maintenance on both the power electronics system and the complete wind turbine system also working as technical project manager and system manager on energy storage solutions both research and development.
