Biography

International developer and manager of commercial scale renewable energy projects and businesses with broad commercial knowledge of development, technology, engineering and policy for onshore and offshore wind, solar, wave and tidal energy. BEng Mechanical Design and MSc Offshore Technology. Recently relocated to Germany after 8 years’ developing projects and consulting in Sub-Saharan Africa, having initially moved to South Africa to lead a wind development pipeline which culminated in the successful competitive REIPPPP tender and sale of a 140MW wind farm. Last two years leading wind and solar engineering consultancies with a primary focus on project portfolio management, client/contractor management and business development in Sub-Saharan Africa. Volunteered 8 years with the South African Wind Energy Association: elected twice to the Board and Chaired the Environmental and Technical working groups.
