Biography

Prof. Dr. Werner Beba is the coordinator of the project NEW 4.0 and the director of the Competence Center for Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency (CC4E), a R&D center of the HAW (Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften/University of Applied Sciences) Hamburg. Additionally, he is the chairman of the supervisory board of the wind farm developer UMaAG, managing director of the CC4E-Windenergie UG, as well as the spokesman of the Hamburg senates’ municipal energy grids boards of advisors. Furthermore he currently acts as spokesman of the EFH (energy research network of Hamburg).
