Biography

Carsten Kusk is Vice President, Head of Sourcing at MHI Vestas Offshore Wind based in Aarhus, Denmark. He is responsible for both direct and indirect sourcing as well as supplier quality and development on a global scale. For the last 10 years, Carsten has worked with procurement and supply chain management within the wind industry as well as the aerospace industry. From 2007 to 2012, Carsten worked for Vestas Wind Systems A/S in their Control Systems business and then he moved on to work for Terma A/S in their Aerostructures business, mainly within defense aerospace focusing on the JSF F-35 program. In June 2017, Carsten went back to the wind industry joining MHI Vestas Offshore Wind and being responsible for the further development of the supply chain.
